The Southern Cross Walk of Fame!
On Wednesday, April 21st 2010, Marty walked from Argo to the Southern Cross Restaurant & Bar to join up with Scott & Steph for morning tea.
With the encouragement and assistance of Sacha & Giuliano, it took Marty around 1 hour to complete this historic adventure.
This was a huge achievement for Marty and he will look into doing again, especially with the football world cup coming up!

On July 15th, Sophie, Sacha, Sean and I went to the St James Theatre to watch Slava’s Snow Show. It was Loretha and Scotty that recommended the show to us and it was fantastic.
We had good seats, just a few rows from the stage – it’s like Cirque Du Soleil just more clowns and less acrobatic acts.
I had a great time there. The show was very interactive and as Sean would say 'a little bit trippy'. There was loud music - happy and sad, cobwebs that filled the room, bubbles, snow and best of all a gigantic colourful ball. Even better, all those things were on us. I could not help but crack up when the big ball (the size of a van) was bouncing around and on top of me and other people in the audience. It was surreal.
It was good fun night and thanks to Loretha and Scott for recommending the show. Till then take care.

Hey everyone!
I hope everyone is feeling well. I have another video to show all of you. It is the video we took while we were out camping at Kaitoke Park. I went with Cam, Glenn and Sean. The trip was excellent!We had BBQ dinner, marshmallows, and camp fire. I stayed in a tent with the Cam'meister. All I can say is check Glenn out! I don't know how Sean was able to sleep that night! haha. Enjoy the video!

Hi everyone,
I hope you are all well. I have to admit I have missed the long hours of sunshine, It is getting less and less by the day. Many exciting events have happened this summer and I can’t wait for winter to be over! Maybe, I could work towards challenging myself to walk around the bays with my walker.
I have had my brand new walker since January this year. It is called a 'Pacer'. It is definitely a state of the art gadget. With this walker, I am able to walk around the house safely because of the features on it. It has a body harness that wraps around my upper body to keep me stable. It even has hand straps to assist me holding the grip the handle bar so I can maneuver it. At the bottom of the walker, a strap is in place with a glider so I am able to move both my legs straight when walking. Plus it also has tiny locks that stops it from moving backward but not forward when I am walking up a hill. How impressive is that?!
So now that I have convinced you how fantastic this 'Pacer' is, lets try to convince the Argo gang to train me up for the next 'Round the Bays'. Actually, I do my morning exercise by walking a few laps around the house. Just between you & I, I have gone down the Argo hill occasionally (supervised). Imagine the look on my mum’s face if she knew that?!
It took me awhile to get use to it but now it is a breeze. It is just about building up my stamina as I get tired after walking around the house a few times. So I am really keen to hit this one hard with the Fry team next summer. I'll definitely keep everybody posted on my progress. I think that is all for now. Take care all you lovely people.
